JAME’ DAVIS brings a strong background in economic development, business administration and public service to the Post Falls Urban Renewal Commission. Jame’ is the Internet Sales Director for Intermax Networks. She serves on the regional council for the Make-A-Wish Idaho Foundation and is board President for the Friends of Idaho Public Television. Jame’ is a Lewis-Clark State College alumni, River City Leadership Academy alumni and a native Idahoan. She and her family are enthusiastic about improving their community and helping to provide better opportunities for our future generations.

Jame’ and her husband, Ryan, moved to Post Falls in 2006 with their children, Emily and Sam.

CHRISTI FLEISCHMAN is Co-Owner and Client Relations Manager at Knock Marketing and Design. Her business development, project management, design aesthetic, civic engagement and public service experience brought her to the Post Falls Urban Renewal Agency Commission.

Christi has been civically involved in past community projects including:  Benches for Bus Stops, Kootenai County Young Professionals (past President), Post Falls Chamber Board, (2018-2021) Post Falls Library Foundation (past Vice-President) and is a former Post Falls Rotary President.

Christi is an active Post Falls Rotarian where she participates in youth scholarship programs, youth closet program, perfect attendance program for New Vision High School, and the Adopt a Street- Post Falls Trash Pick Up Program. She is a 2018 graduate of the River City Leadership Program.  In 2019, Christi was awarded Soroptimist Business Woman of the Year and Rotarian of the Year.

In her “spare time” Christi delivers Meals on Wheels for the Post Falls Senior Center. She has lived in Post Falls since 2003 with her husband, Dave, and teenage son.

LEN CROSBY is a graduate of University of Mississippi with a BA in History and English, Northern Illinois University with a MA in Educational Administration and the University of West Virginia with an MBA in Business Administration. Len did post-graduate work at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in real estate finance. He has over 40 years of experience in real estate finance and development. Len serves on the Board of the Idaho Bond Bank Authority and the Idaho Credit Rating Enhancement Committee. He also serves on the Boards of the Kootenai County Boys and Girls Club, the Legislative Committee of the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry, the Idaho Veterans Assistance League, the Joint Chamber Public Policy Committee, several Veterans organizations and is Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Kootenai Bridge Academy (Charter School).

Len is an advocate of transparency and the prudent use of the public funds. He favors the use of Urban Renewal to enhance job creation and support the expansion of the local economy. Len has been a resident of Post Falls since 1999.

COLLIN COLES received a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Idaho in 1978. He was the regional sales manager for Northern Energy. Collin has also worked as a logger, an engineering tech for the Forest Service, an electrician, and in construction. He went to work for the City of Post Falls and retired as a planner. He continues to do private consulting work for the City of Kellogg and others. He has served on the Kootenai County Airport Advisory Board and the Kootenai County Planning Commission.

Collin and his family have lived in Kootenai County for over 50 years.

ERIC CLEMENSEN began his public service in 1984 as an officer in the U.S. Marine Corps after earning a Business Administration degree from the University of Kansas. While on active duty, he served in a variety of ground combat, anti-terrorism, training management and aviation assignments. In 1997, following his military service, Eric was appointed a Special Agent with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and was assigned to the Coeur d’Alene Resident Agency. During his law enforcement career, he focused on complex criminal investigations, frequently collaborating with other federal, state and local agencies.

Since his retirement in 2017, Eric has volunteered as a Guardian ad Litem for North Idaho CASA, advocating for abused and neglected children. He served as chairman of the Panhandle Health District “Citizen Review Panel,” empowered by the Idaho Legislature to evaluate the child welfare/child protection system and recommend programmatic enhancements. In late 2021, he returned to full-time employment as a contract analyst for the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency at Fairchild Air Force Base.

Eric and his wife Lisa moved to Post Falls in 2016 and enjoy various outdoor pursuits together. They have four adult children who each have amazing spouses. They are the proud grandparents of two delightful toddlers.

MELISSA HJELTNESS is a lifelong resident of Kootenai County, born in Coeur d’Alene and raised in Post Falls. She graduated from Post Falls High School. She is married to Dr. Kirk Hjeltness, a local physician. Melissa is a local realtor of 10 years and has her license at Coldwell Banker Schneidmiller Realty. She has served on the Spring Dash board for 5 years and volunteers at numerous sporting events.

Pat Leffel served four years in the United States Navy and attended Eastern Washington University. Was the past Director of Kinman Business University Spokane Washington, was a Regional Manager for Radio Shack Franchise and was Property Manager for Riverbend Commerce Park, Post Falls, Idaho. Previously, Pat lived in Post Falls for 16 years and was very active with Jobs Plus in Coeur d’Alene and the Post Falls Chamber of Commerce during his 15 years with Riverbend Commerce Park.

JOSEPH JOHNS has been in public service in Kootenai County for over 25 years, with extensive experience in land records and government administration. He has a M.A. from the University of Idaho and B.A. from the University of Arkansas. He was hired as Executive Director for the Post Falls Urban Renewal Agency in October 2021.

Joseph has been married to his wife Brenda for 34 years and they have 2 adult children born and raised here in beautiful North Idaho.

PETE BREDESON is a graduate of Coeur d’Alene High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Montana State University-Billings in 1997. He later attended the University of Montana School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctorate degree in 2001. In 2009, he founded Bredeson Law Group. Pete and his family reside in Coeur d’Alene.

REGULAR MEETINGS of the Post Falls Urban Renewal Agency Commission are held the 3rd Thursday of each month. View meeting agendas, minutes and more HERE. 

WORKSHOPS are held on an “as needed” basis. When a workshop is deemed necessary it will be held on Tuesday one week prior to the Full Commission Meeting. The purpose of the workshop is  to review and discuss activities of the Agency and upcoming Agenda items with all the Commissioners as opposed to individual committee meetings.  The standing committees will meet on an as needed basis.

Committees serve the purpose of streamlining processes of the PFURA.  While all final decisions are made by the entire Commission, the Agency’s decisions are supported by the research and recommendations from the following standing committees:

FINANCE & POLICY COMMITTEE*

PURPOSE: Initiate and be the clearing house for all Agency policies, handle investments, financing proposals, allocation of tax increments, interface with other taxing districts, oversight of recovery of Occupancy Tax from prior years and related matters. Task forces are encouraged.

DISTRICT REVIEW COMMITTEE*

PURPOSE: Focus on review and evaluation of all existing Districts. Develop and oversee Small User Program and consider Agency initiatives in existing districts. Committee will also be focal point for the Agency’s East Post Falls District.  Use of Task Forces is encouraged.

COMMUNICATION, PROPERTY & PERSONNEL COMMITTEE*

PURPOSE: Focus on quarterly evaluation of staff, Benefits program for next FY, benefits and pay package for staff, logistical needs including FF&E and office space. Committee will also focus on communication plan. Committee interfaces with Finance Committee on funding issues. Task forces as deemed appropriate (benefits, insurance, communication, etc.).
