The Post Falls Urban Renewal Agency was created in May, 1991 by Resolution 91-11
To foster sound economic and community improvement that enhances the overall quality of life in Post Falls by:
- Providing and improving infrastructure
- Attracting jobs
- Enhancing citizen safety and health

JOB ANNOUNCEMENT: Executive Director
The Post Falls Urban Renewal Agency is seeking applicants for the part-time position of Executive Director. Reporting to a seven-person Board of Commissioners, the Executive Director is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Agency and it’s six existing Urban Renewal Districts. The Director is also expected to provide collaborative and pro-active leadership in the areas of program development, formation of community partnerships and financing. Successful candidates will have a combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting &/or Business Administration or a related field and three (3) years accounting experience. Must be proficient in QuickBooks, Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Preference will be given to those with a background in government accounting, community development, planning and/or related areas.
